Jolly Green Giant

My goodness, in a week when we have seen the weather jump from mini heatwave to wet and miserable with the temperature droppping to just 8 degrees, the Courgette has at least doubled in size since I blipped it just a week ago.
Nasturtiums not far behind.
Little worried as the Spinach is starting to look a tad intimidated by it's neighbours - is this normal growth? a result of erratic weather changes? or a good example of Companion Planting?
