Our street in Venice

Lovely day.  Lots of clean sparkly windows to show for it.    But I had to take a break and put my Venice photos from April on flickr.  I know, I know …. way too many, but I got tired of culling them out and even tho some aren’t great, they tell a story.   Well when I saw there were over 400 (4 times what I like!!) I tried to delete some on flickr but they also got deleted from my lightroom catalog—eek! - so I quit and will have to figure that one out.   (at least they are still on the memory card). .and they will make a fine book.…but sorry about the number... then I just got a email from flickr saying I owe the flickr pro sub. —I’m not sure I’ve ever paid flickr… so have to look into that.    Only took one real photo today of an eagle in our tree - but he was just sitting doing nothing.   And my 70-200 lens has a definite problem with the auto focus..spent a lot of time yesterday with all sorts of settings.,  Think it’s a trip to the camera shop.  Darn.   It’s over a year old.

Anyway, so here’s the weekly sketch - from Venice.  forgot both my styluses (got a new one so I'd have one each place)  at home so was doing this all with my finger when, cleaning  the couch today - lo and behold there was an old stylus lurking under the cushions….so I finished it and here you go….  After this, it’s Parker Island sketches.   Visitors tomorrow - the annual spring put-the-grey-float-in-the-water ritual…
