Rabbit anyone?

I'm fascinated about what is carried on and sold from scooters in Asia.  Today it was pet rabbits and hamsters.  One of my friends recently bought a pet chipmunk from a two-wheeled vendor like this.  I joked with some friends about buying a rabbit to cook for dinner, but they assured me, these are small beautiful rabbits, not the eating kind.
