Baby Apples

The beautiful apple blossom has all but disappeared. When I looked closely at the apple tree this morning I found these tiny apples all covered in fur. In five months time they'll be big and shiny and hopefully very sweet. 

We're just about to leave the house to pick up my youngest son from the airport. We haven't seen him for eighteen months so we're very excited. He's been in Australia for a year and then travelling in Asia for 6 months. He will be accompanied by his Australian girlfriend who we haven't met yet which is even more cause for excitement.

Maybe they'll be willing to sit for blip portraits.
