"Land crab"

Otherwise known as a Wolseley 18/85.
My stepfather, Don, used to have a deep claret coloured one many years ago, nicknamed "Thunderbus" on account of the gruff, rumbly exhaust note.
On our way to the garden centre this morning, we came across quite a number of classic cars heading to the car meet in Bridge of Allan. Rovers, Jaguars, VW Beetles, numerous Ford Capris and Escorts and lots of original Minis. Even an old Albion police van!
Would have gone back for a good browse around this afternoon but the weather took a turn for the worse.
Later we headed out to Culross and found a much more pleasant climate. At least it was dry and sunny!
Early evening saw us at the cinema. We saw The Royal Night Out. I suspect the plot is a very, very long way from the truth (i.e. A load of nonsense) but it was a well filmed and acted piece of hokum.
