Dandelion

While weeding the garden this morning I spotted a perfect dandelion head. Always more than happy to be distracted by something shiny, I fetched camera and tripod and wasted spent twenty minutes taking shots. An hour after leaving it in peace I walked past it again, and the seeds were flying.

I wound up keeping half a dozen images with different focus, framing and processing, and really couldn't decide which I liked best - so this is CH's choice. The other five are here.
