Earthy

What a magnificent day - hot hot hot, brilliant!!  These cosmos seed heads were intended for Mono Monday "Triffids", but I really loved the earthy colours too much to turn to mono.

A hair doo this morning, much needed.  This afternoon getting myself organised for our few days away. 

 Our gang/group/call it what you want are off to celebrate our men's 70th year.  Oh shucks that is scary.  We twelve go back to our 1st year of high school and have been best of mates ever since, a special friendship like family.  We usually get away every year, biking and doing outdoor things.  Hanmer is the destination this year and we're leaving the bikes behind.
