On the Racecourse

This morning the walking group went out in torrential rain. Our walk included Oswestry Racecourse which hasn't been used for racing since 1848 so we didn't have to watch out for galloping horses!

This is the group looking at the remains of the old grandstand on top of the Racecourse which was used for people to watch the races. It's a great place for walking with lovely views over England and Wales and today was covered in bluebells (as in my extra photo). As soon as we arrived back at the car park the rain stopped!
