The Lion King

Our initial trip to Chester Zoo was planned for Saturday 2nd June but we decided against it at the last minute - literally on the way to the station - due to the light rain and fairly cold and windy weather.

Today was quite the opposite. Another glorious day of sunshine on this Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend - and maybe the last bit of decent weather for the coming week.

We definitely made the right decision in waiting, as it was great to wander round Chester Zoo taking in the incredible surroundings and even more incredible animals.
