Poppies

I didn't take the Nikon out today and made do with my old compact. I can certainly tell from the quality of this photo that it wasn't the Nikon that took it - it amazing that I was so happy with my compact for so long. And, yes, I did rather play with the colour on this one.

We managed to find some sun on our walk near Alresford today, so I was rather surprised to get home, turn on the tv to watch the river pageant and find that it had rained all afternoon in London. What a shame.
