Friendly

The word community is used on the sign because Tucson and Pima County are designated as a Bicycle Friendly Region that extends beyond the city limits. The Rillito River Trail is part of a 102 mile loop of paved separated trails. 

Out early this morning for  a 12 mile ride before the wind began blowing. Visited briefly with a couple of Hand Cyclists who regularly ride a 25 to 30 miles route. Many runners and cyclists were out at 6 am for training and I felt good about my ride.
