Late spring colour

As I was leaving school today I noticed this plant was blooming although mine in the garden is nowhere near starting to bloom yet. I love it ....the flower spikes are so delicate and the colour so vibrant.
The more flowers we have in the school grounds the better the chance of attracting butterflies :)
