Tunnel Vision

It's national 'Walk to School' week, and the kids want their stickers, so, (as they say around here), we'm bin walking to school ay we.

We have a nice route down the local canal to get to the kid's school though, and barring the hailstorm, rain, and freezing wind, it was actually quite a nice walk today. 

I've always loved the canal tunnels, where you can sense the history strongest of all, imagining the bargees on their backs walking the walls to push the barge through slowly and painstakingly.

Plus- they're great to sing in... seriously, try it... you won't be disappointed.
