Jumping for joy

The first time we've let both dogs loose together in the garden and Oh, Boy, did they enjoy themselves! We had to make sure we recaptured Duke before he tired of playing and decided to start hunting. He doesn't miss a scent or a movement and if he heads off into the outer garden jungle, he's liable to come back with a face-full of porcupine quills - or not come back at all.

Later, HH and I took them both way up the hill, beyond most houses and let Duke off the lead, again not certain that we'd get him back. He was in seventh heaven, investigating everything, splashing around in a stream and chasing Kayla, but followed us home quite dutifully.

Back down to Rio early evening, to find an appeal for help in looking up sources from our younger daughter, up against a deadline for delivering one of her last uni assignments. Looks like a long night.
