Fledglings

The blue tits that have been nesting in the bird box Sam made fledged today. All five of them. I had been watching the parents feed them as I sat in the sun with a mug of tea and then one by one they cautiously emerged and flew up into the elderflower tree. I kept Blue in for the rest of the day, just in case.
