Future winner

We are holding a chili growing competition in our office this summer. The seeds were planted on 11 May, which is late for chilies in Scotland and this morning the first of the two seeds I planted has sprung forth. 

The competition rules are a bit woolly, the plant with the most chilies will be judged the winner at some unspecified date in the future. However to encourage a heavier crop you have to pick chilies as the mature. 

It will be interesting to see how others get along but I have a feeling, provided there is no sabotage by colleagues, that this little plant will be a winner.
