She Is Ringed Now

This morning there were two photographers and one ornitologist in my garden. They had seen my owl photo in internet. The ornitologist weighed, measured and ringed my famale Tegelmalm´s owl (Aegolius funereus). These owls are very trusting and they are not disturbed . Her weight is 189 g, the lenght of the wings is 173 cm and she is two year old. There was only one egg in the nest box. It´s possible that she´ll lay more eggs very soon.
