Ants' World

Work never stops for ants once they are out of hibernation. They were trying to get into this poppy bud, no doubt for nectar rather than shelter from the pouring rain.

A very busy time for us right now, visitors are arriving any minute, and then we leave for Turkey on Saturday while they house sit for us. Apologies, commenting is about to be sparse and thanks so much for the comments, stars and hearts again, you are so generous.
