Red Deer at Glen Coe

We spent an enjoyable day at the Glen Coe National Trust for Scotland Visitors Centre today and then at the Folk Museum at Glencoe which was really very interesting.   I bought a few books about the folk history, a biography of a Highland Doctor and a recipe book!!
On our back to Spean Bridge we detoured along a single track trail and just happened upon this gorgeous Red Deer, who obligingly posed for a good half hour or so before disappearing into some Rhododendrons.   It really was the icing on the cake to a brilliant sunny and warm day.
