When the going gets weird

The Prisoner

Melvin went back to the vet on Saturday evening. Mum was a bit worried about his behaviour over the course of the day and needed some professional reassurance that he was OK. The vet on duty decided it might be that the splint on his leg was rubbing, so they decided to remove it.

However, to make sure he wasn't leaping around too much and risking bending the pins in his foot before the bones healed, he was sent home with a "kennel". He's confined to it when I'm not home to make sure he doesn't get up to any mischief.

I wasn't mad about the idea of locking him up, but being the contrary little monster that he is, he's take to going and sleeping in it when he doesn't have to. He's become an institutionalised Kittie! "I CAN'T MAKE IT ON THE OUTSIDE MAN!"
