Cheesy peas

On Gardeners Question Time last week, one querie was "how do I keep mice off my peas?".

My response was "you don't" and filled a cheese container with some fresh and cooked garden peas for Stuey.

Over night he dived into the bowl and threw the peas all over his cage (I'm sure he does this to make them easier to roll back to his nest - he's a very small mouse).

The cooked ones seemed preferable as they are soft in the centre and the little soul can bite easily though the outer skin and tuck it.

Give a mouse a pea I say!

Next time, raspberries :-)
