In the fast lane.

Today my walk took me down streets littered with fallen leaves blowing in the strong nor'wester wind. All thoughts of careful composition went out of my head as I saw this leaf blown onto the roadway and standing up bravely in the sunlight between the parked cars. I dashed out, plonked my phone camera down in front of it and got a quick snap before the leaf was blown away.
