Cuarto Real de Sto Domingo

This Arab building was used by the Arabs monarchs during the Ramadan days.
It was built in the 13th century, then it was part of a convent and in the 19th century it became a private property.
The Granada Town Council bought it in 1990, but it has not been restored and opened to the public until recently.
Today I made my first visit. I hope I will go there very frequently. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens with lots of flowers and fountains, as you can see in my image.
An exhibition hall has also been opened in a modern building near the palace.  You can see more details of the inside of the building here or in my extra fotos.
