The Oak won.

This Ash tree is way behind the local oaks so hopefully we are in for just a
'splash'. I shall have to dust off the hose pipes - - - 

The old folk lore saying
If the oak before the ash,
Then we’ll only have a splash.
If the ash before the oak,
Then we’ll surely have a soak!
However don't believe a word of it as the ash has only managed to come out before the oak 4 times in the last 50 years! 
I have also discovered this is used as bach flower remedy
I think i will have to try it, sounds wonderful!!
