A year on

I spent so many months at the maternity department of the hospital longingly watching other families leaving with babies in car seats and lots of presents and balloons.

But I didn't have anything like a normal pregnancy or birth experience or taking-the-baby-home experience, so no-one thought to get me a balloon and I didn't think to mention it.

But as I'm never doing that again I did feel a bit sad not to have a balloon.

So lovely cyclops got me a balloon on BabyCyclops's first birthday and delivered it to me at 10.46am, exactly a year after he was born.
