Bug

On of those "What the heck is that?" moments. Or words to that effect.

In this case, it proved to be a Golden-bloomed Grey Longhorn beetle, tucked away in a glade in Spring Wood. 

There have only been a handful of records of this beetle in our neck of the woods, but it looks like it's extending its range northward.
