Rannerdale

Please view large against black!

When I said to the guests we were off to Rannerdale to photograph the bluebells, the initial reaction was not overly positive. We discussed alternatives, but eventually settled on Rannerdale.

It didn't disappoint, with the colours seemingly even more intense than last year, and lots of new paths cut into the slopes. This was taken high up the slope looking along Rannerdale valley towards Buttermere, a 0.6 grad and polariser helped bring out the sky tones and textures.

If anyone is in the area over the next couple of weeks, make the effort to see them, you won't be disappointed!
