Superfluous Signals

Just down the road....

Quite suddenly on Tuesday morning,
These t-lights lights appeared without warning,
Inconvenient and slow,
Why they're here we don't know,
With no workmen to ask, it's quite boring.

And we're heading into a Bank Holiday weekend too so I don't expect we'll see any for the next three days either.  Can anyone tell me why there are here?

In other news it was Ben's last day at school.  From now on he's on study leave in between exams of course.
