Jubilee Moon

Jubilee celebrations at Torquay included a fantastic firework display, and three beacons, one of which was lit by the elected Mayor. As we gathered to watch fireworks and beacons everything was eclipsed by the sight of the moon rising over Torbay. Some people didn't even notice it, too distracted by the fairground and stage show. Those who were looking out to sea were mesmerised by the moon's display. Despite good blips of beacons, flags, and rockets the moon won hands down.
