Saturday Morning

Walking to the car I spotted a little girl sitting on a cushion in another coffee shop.
She'd rubbed a hole in the condensation on the window, so she could see out.
I was just about to snap her when she turned around.

The young man in my extra served me coffee this morning and reminded me that I'd taught him many moons ago.
I wanted to say I remembered him, but couldn't.

As a librarian I saw all the children in the school and the only ones I remember, generally speaking, are the very difficult ones or the stellar ones.
This means that 99% of them have been forgotten:(
