Japanese maple.

As autumn succumbs to the arrival of the winter our Japanese maple loses it's bright colours but still captures some beauty in today's raindrops. This image was inspired by hearing an interview on our National radio this morning with Australian writer Clive James. In his poem "Japanese Maple " he says :
    'When did you ever see
So much sweet beauty as when fine rain falls
on that small tree
And saturates your brick back garden walls' .
