City Park Sleeps

Last night in Cardiff before travelling back to Sussex.  It feels as though we have been away for ever.
Said good-bye to Wales by walking around Roath Park almost an institution  in Cardiff.  It was first opened to the public in 1894 and the lake was created from marshland. The park's atmosphere still retains a feeling of Victorian elegance and, hopefully, its status as a Conservation Area will ensure that this will be maintained.
