Kyoto
Kyoto is the third largest city in Japan.
The names means capital city.
Even though Tokyo is the current capital of Japan, Kyoto was the capital for centuries.
Given that the city I live in was only founded in the mid 1800's, it is amazing to see place where the history goes back to 794 AD.
Fascinating.
