Hilary

Hilary is a Royal Doulton porcelain figure that sits on the top of my desk in my bedroom. I bought her to remind me of Sally, a ballerina who used to sit on my aunt's dressing table.

I would so have liked to have acquired Sally as a keepsake after my aunt died but I was told that she had been broken. So I bought Hilary as a reminder instead.

When I woke this morning, more or less the first thing I saw was Hilary in rim light peeking from behind the curtains. I took a photo.
