Shrimply the Best!!

No apologies for my blip today!! I'm still too busy celebrating Southend Uniteds dramatic Play Off Final win yesterday which means we get promoted from League Two to League One!  They never do things the easy way so we could have got automatic promotion on the last day of the season, but they blew that so we had to endure the play off semi final and then yesterdays final! it was 0-0 after 90 minutes so that meant extra time... Wycombe scored first and it was looking like all was going to end very badly but in the 120nd minute (with 24 seconds left on the clock!) we equalised!! i've never celebrated a goal like it!!  Well, that is until we won the penalty shoot out!! Amazing! one of the best games i've ever had the pleasure to watch! 

There havent been many highlights in supporting them for 30 years but yesterday makes it all worthwhile!  Think i need to go and apologise to the neighbours now for the noise i made yesterday!!  Made me forget about my stinking cold too!
