When one has a surfeit of rhubarb one has to be slightly inventive to use it all up.  Most of it goes, of course, to make rhubarb champagne but there was some left over after the last batch.

There was only one thing for it and that was to try this recipe  http://www.blipfoto.com/sheilwill-2015-05-01  

I had my heart in my mouth in case it went wrong and then I would have been sternly reprimanded but lo and behold it turned out to be surprisingly good.

We move on to a batch of rhubarb and ginger chutney tomorrow....
