Calmac Loch Seaforth

We've been looking forward to sailing on this ferry for some time and today we set sail from Ullapool en route to Tarbert in Harris. The weather was great and the ferry lived up to expectations!

Headed straight to Luskentyre and once again was astonished by the colour of the water.

West Harris Trust have overnight parking spots in the most scenic places - £5 a night - pay by PayPal! I'm very impressed.

Cycled round to the Hebrides Gallery for coffee and cakes - we didn't realise how windy it was until we changed direction and had to cycle hard going downhill! The cake helped however and we cycled back along to the main part of the beach and had a long walk on the sands.

We watched 'The Theory of Everything' later on with Mr Q's technological wizardry - inverters, blue tooth speakers etc. he really knows how to wild camp in style!
