What's in a name?

Am I alone in reacting to the name?

I saw the nail bar and was glad to say it wasn't open on Sundays - so I couldn't hear the scratching noise.

Just the name set my teeth on edge, thinking of finger nails scratching surfaces like an old school blackboard etc.
