QM2

Ilona and Tony left this morning having declared Sound City a great success - we wish them well and it was cool to have them to stay for a few days.  It's good to meet new people.  Then we mooched for a bit and headed into town.  I must have signed onto a mailing list somewhere a while back because I had an email from Hub a couple of days ago offering me a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday should we choose to dine there.  So we did.  Gift Horse, no strings.  All good.  And then to the ferry to gaze at the people gazing at QM2.  It was all rather splendid and the fireworks at the end were pretty cool.  I'd guess even the Love Activists couldn't help but have a peek from their new campsite.
