Pieris japonica

Three mile walk this morning to look for Bird's Nest Orchid in the only place we have found it in the AONB. No sign of it. Not too surprising as it is very fickle and comes up when it feels like it. Which is not every year.

Surprisingly not too much of special interest in that particular set of footpaths. So back to the garden where Pieris japonica is doing well.
