When the going gets weird

Dem Bones

Despite being out to an ungodly hour socialising, Riot and I managed to get  up and over to the Catacombs for opening at Ten. Not that it mattered. We still ended up waiting three and a half hours to get to the front of the queue.   No matter though. It rained non-stop so wouldn't have been much good for walking about in.

I visited the Catacombs before, the first time I came to Paris. It was well worth the second visit, the sheer quantity of bones down there is mind boggling.

In the evening we went to Au Lapin Agile Cabaret bar in Montmartre for some traditional French Chansons, which was really great. Lot's of famous Artists, including Picasso have been regulars at the place when they lived in the city.
