Ginkgo biloba (again)

I have lost, or will lose, some of my favourite plants in the garden during the construction of the extension but this I should manage to keep for a while longer, assuming BT resist the attempt to repeat the programme of destruction that broke the top off some years ago as they attended the telegraph pole in the garden to the rear if left alone. Nevertheless, I feel obliged to record its progress each year, just in case anything untoward occurs.

The species is dioecious, meaning that this, like holly, is either a female or a male tree and I have yet to discover which mine is, I must remember to have a closer look occasionally.
