Fireworks

....Well that was what it looked like to me.

Young1 and I took the dog for a walk this morning and spent most of the time with our heads buried in the long grass at the side of the field taking various pictures while the dog got bored! It was difficult to decide which to blip but this one won although I will admit that it was 'doctored' a little bit.

Some of the pictures that did not make it were this fly with a fungal infection; a bee feeding; this blue damselfly or Daldinia concentrica fungi

Those of you that saw yesterdays blip might be interested to know that Duncan completed his Joss Naylor Lakeland Challenge in 13h 32 m which was well inside the 15 hours that he was allowed for the challenge. He certainly picked the best day for his adventure and he has promised his helpers beer and chip butties after training tomorrow night :)
