Lambing Live, Late

People have been posting lambs for ages, I'm coming to it late. The farmer next door has just turned his sheep and their lambs into the Donkey Field. I was photographing the above when his son appeared.

He had come to see if the final ewe in his flock had gone into labour. Jazzy dog and I are on sheep watch. I'm going to phone him if we notice the signs.

We talked badgers. He's seen the one that lives in my glasshouse on its way to feast at our neighbour's house. He has caught it in his fox trap and released it.

On the way back to the house I saw my Reynard gazing at me from number thirteen glasshouse. Hope it continues to evade the trap. Foxes aren't released by a turkey farmer.
