The 150th. Annual Memorial Day Parade......

......dedicated in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom!
It started out rainy this morning, but by about 1:00 the sun was shining & it was up to 76 degrees, so Tom revved up the motorcycle & we headed downtown to watch the parade! I've put a few  pictures into the extras today--one is of the Grand Marshal of the Parade: Clayton Chipman, a former marine who fought in WWII & took part in the fighting at Iwo Jima, now in his late 80's. There was a large turnout, & much clapping & cheering for our courageous men & women of the armed forces.
A very happy Memorial Day to you all!
(& yes, I know the flag is backwards, but that's the way the wind was blowing!) :))
