King George V Playing Fields

This shot shows the magnificent tree lined avenue leading into the playing fields.  I was sure there used to be plaques under the trees dedicating each to an individual, however they don't seem to be there now ( perhaps my aged memory is playing tricks on me)

I was trying a long shot to see how the camera coped with that, but I also tried to see how close I could get to the gates at the bottom with the zoom.  Was surprised at how well it came out (see extra photo)
