As sure as eggs is eggs......

Last time I was in the USA I came across a food website that I liked - lots of good recipes and ideas, with good quality photos. You need to be selective; as you would expect a lot of the recipes are a bit 'American' for UK tastes but at the same time there are a lot of ideas which are a bit different from things we'd see here. This is one idea which tastes 100 times better than it looks! Medium boiled eggs marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, sherry vinegar and sugar. They are supposed to be used in salads or Vietnamese-style Pho dishes but as they end up tasting rather like smoky bacon they are really good just on their own.
