perked up

It must seem as if I spend my life in coffee shops - I wish! Too late tonight for a coffee at the Perky Peacock but the evening sunlight shining through the window tempted me into this photo which caused a few tourists to stop in their tracks and wonder what on earth I was doing. I had taken several shots of York's famous Clifford's Tower, but wasn't that happy with them, so the Perky Peacock saved the day.
