The Original Redhead

Met with CC today to pick up the dress and shoes I lent her for her commencement service last June. We had a quick catch up over salads on the Strand. 

I immediately regretted my question about her 'next step.' I suspect I am not the only one who has innocently asked her that in the last yeat. All these 20 something women in my life. So enthusiastic, intelligent and highly educated. All struggling to find stimulating and rewarding work. Frustrated and a bit downbeat about their future.. She looked so forlorn when we parted.
