Hawthorn

Today’s blip is of a Hawthorn bush in full blossom.  We have several of these around the perimeter of our garden and these, together with the Blackthorns, which look similar but flower earlier, always look beautiful, even if they are a bit prickly.  However, they make a very good part of a boundary fence.
